MOTOR LEARNING AND CIRCUIT PLASTICITY
ROTH LAB @ UHN
ROTH LAB @ UHN
Welcome! We study the synaptic and circuit bases for motor control and motor learning.
The brain’s ability to learn and form new memories relies on the precise reorganization of neuronal circuits, involving both the adaptation of circuit activity and structural changes in circuit connectivity. Our lab explores the link between synaptic and circuit-level changes in mice during motor learning, focusing on the role of input-specific synaptic plasticity in sensorimotor integration as well as the neuromodulatory mechanisms underlying these synapse-to-circuit interactions.
